Producers Social #24: Producing Clinic with Jala Adolphus

  • Room2F 8 Raffles Ave, #02-19, Esplanade Mall Singapore 039802 (map)

What does it mean to make work within the region? What are some pathways that can support the facilitation of such collaborations and are there sensitivities to consider in establishing these collaborations?

The Producing Clinic is an opportunity for producers and artists with concepts and ideas for development to seek insight and advice from experienced producers and arts managers. Each clinic will involve an open call for applicants to submit their project proposals and/or existing project write-ups for consideration, according to the remit of the clinic and the featured facilitator.

In this edition of the Producing Clinic, we invite 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗽𝗵𝘂𝘀 (Producer of Garin Nugroho’s silent film, live orchestra work Setan Jawa and Medium by Rianto) to share about regional collaborations, the long term maps between funded and non funded contexts, relationships with potential collaborations, funding bodies, venues and co-producers, and prioritising the artists' voice.
