6pm onwards
Atrium @ Blk O, GAC
Free Entry

Join us at GAC to meet and mingle with the independent art sector and residents of the various arts spaces run by Arts House Limited.

Being a community-based network that shares information and resources, we will have a segment called Q&AAA for participants to crowdsource answers to any burning questions in producing, production and arts management. These can be specific questions related to your current project; challenges you are facing in your profession or practice; or if you are seeking an artist or producer to collaborate with. All are welcome to contribute from their knowledge and experiences.

We’ll be catering some F&B, and you're most welcome to BYO and contribute to the spread.

Have you ever struggled trying to write your biography, or to craft an elevator pitch to people at a networking session about yourself and your work?

If you are keen to learn new ways of how you can write a succinct bio and pitch your project effectively to appeal to partners and presenters, then this workshop is for you.

Led by master storyteller Kamini Ramachandran, in this tailor-made workshop for the arts community, you will learn what makes an effective bio and project pitch. There will be guided exercises with prompts for you to start writing your bio and pitches in creative and relevant ways.

Upon completion of this 2-hour workshop, participants will have a draft of a new bio and pitch which they may continue to develop and refine.

Note: if you are an independent art practitioner wanting to attend this workshop but with inadequate means to do so, please email with a brief statement of motivation.
